Tony: I look forward to seeing a copy of your new book On The Swing Shift.
Wondering in your research and travels did you ever come across an image of the S.S. STEPHEN LEACOCK built at Southeastern in 1944.
We’ve commissioned a model of the ship and I would love to have a picture to complement the display. I have only a very average pic. of her sliding down the ways and I wondered if you had seen or have anything better.
Keel laid: 11 May ’44, Christened 22 July ’44, handed over 28 July ’44.
We’re dedicating the model at the Leacock Museum on November 5 and would love to have an image of her to complement the display.
Very best, Fred Addis, Curator, Leacock Museum National Historic Site
